“I like to talk about developing and understanding between Aboriginal and non Aboriginal people to forget the stero types and prejudice. I would like our community to work together. I would like our community to work towards unity and togetherness and an appreciation of heritage and reconcile with each other Aboriginal people. Once we reconcile with each other, we can reconcile faster with the wide community. That is my wish, dream and desire.
To set aside our differences and see ourselves as brothers and sisters with new eyes. What I would like to see is freedom, justice and equality of Aboriginal conditions without the loss of identity. We can’t be something we are not! We come from a strong an ancient culture with connections way back. I am proud to tell the wider community we are still here, we are not going anywhere. We are here today, tomorrow and forever. I believe in healing and we are healing, Music Song and Dance are part of that healing, and that is what I do. I sing all my songs about CULTURE.”
